Bumble Bees is a friendly, welcoming stay-and-play for children aged 0–5 and their parents and carers.

 

We offer a relaxed space for garden play, activities, and crafts, where little ones can explore, play, and make new friends while adults can enjoy a cuppa and a friendly chat.

We know that the early years can be both joyful and busy, so Bumble Bees is designed to be a safe, informal space where families can connect, share experiences, and feel supported.

What To Expect

​

Each session includes a range of fun, child-friendly activities such as:

• Garden play and outdoor exploration (weather permitting)

• Creative crafts and sensory activities

• Space for free play and social interaction

• Time for parents and carers to relax and chat

​

We also provide a free snack for all children, along with a tea or coffee for parents and carers.

​

Community Led and Volunteer Supported

​

Bumble Bees is a volunteer-run group, supported by a friendly team who help create a welcoming and inclusive environment for all families who attend. Our volunteers are at the heart of the group, helping sessions run smoothly and making sure everyone feels comfortable and included.

​

Family Hub Support

​

Bumble Bees is also part of the Norfolk County Council Family Hubs network, which means we are connected to wider local services that support families.

​

Once a month, we are visited by members of the Family Hub team who can offer advice, guidance, and signposting to local services and support. This might include help with parenting, health and wellbeing, early years development, or other family needs. They are here to listen, offer information, and help families access the right support when needed.

We’re proud to offer a friendly, non-judgemental space where families can come along, meet others, and feel part of their local community.

The Coastal Community Supermarket is open during the same time, making it easier for families to access affordable everyday essentials alongside the group.
