Coastal Community Supermarket
The Coastal Community Supermarket is a mobile low-cost supermarket covering locations across North Norfolk, alongside permanent shops in Wells and Holt.
We are part of the Norfolk Community Foundation’s Nourishing Norfolk Network, which brings together groups of all sizes who work at the grassroots level to ensure communities have access to affordable, healthy food. Established in 2021, the network provides mutual support, advice and information to help combat food insecurity and make sure no one in Norfolk goes hungry.

The Coastal community supermarket is a low-cost food club where people pay a one-off membership to join and then they have access to food that is up to 30% less than mainstream supermarkets.

If you want to access the service as a member the only stipulation is that you must have a permanent home in any of the locations we cover. There’s a £3.50 joining fee and that lets you access any of the sites.
Our aim is to help our community have access to healthy, nutritious but low-cost food, which will help them live a healthier lifestyle and help them to get their finances to go a little bit further, especially in this cost-of-living crisis.

We have free sanitary products which help us to combat period poverty.
