I’m Sarah your qualified sports massage practitioner. I have a positive and energetic outlook on life and like to bring this to my clients. I enjoy all forms of exercise and empathise readily with like-minded people so I can help you overcome whatever niggles and knocks you may pick up.

I will give you an honest and qualified appraisal and work with you individually to achieve your own personal goal to recovery. If a sports massage is not what you are after I am also a qualified Deep Tissue and Indian Facial Massage therapist.
Types of massage I offer
-
Sports Massage
-
Sports Massage/Soft Tissue manipulation is a form of deep tissue massage that uses additional massage techniques and manipulation.
-
Sports massage is designed to assist in correcting problems and imbalances in soft tissue that are caused from repetitive and strenuous physical activity and injury.
-
It helps improve movement and flexibility, with muscle soreness (Delayed Onset Muscle Soreness-DOMS), aid recovery and helps prevent injury. Although it is perfect for people who enjoy sport it can also be very beneficial for anyone whose job involve physical movement.
Deep Tissue Massage

-
Deep tissue massage uses slow, firm strokes and pressure to ease and release tension deep in your muscles.
-
Deep tissue massage helps to refresh and relax muscles, increasing the blood flow and therefore the oxygen flow around your body. This gets rid of toxins in sore and strained muscles, which helps them to strengthen and heal.
-
A great massage to help recover from injury.
Rejuvenating Facial Massage

This 60 minute Indian inspired facial is a detoxifying massage that focusses on the face, neck and head to help restore balance, rejuvenate, relax and relieve stress lines.

Benefits of Rejuvenating Facial Massage can include:

-
Relaxed muscles and tissues of the face, neck and scalp
-
Improved appearance of the areas around the forehead, eyes, nose and mouth
-
A reduction in neck & shoulder tension
-
A healthy glow to the skin
Massage and Menopause

Your body is amazing. It’s worked so hard for you, allowed you to move, to work and maybe even have children. Now, though, it may feel different and you might have noticed some changes which are making life less enjoyable or even uncomfortable.
The menopause will bring a different phase of your life. Your body may feel, look and react differently to how you expect. What was once familiar is being replaced by a new rhythm.
As you move through the menopause you may have some of these symptoms:

-
Anxiety and poor sleep
-
Hot flushes/flashes
-
Aching joints and limbs
-
Water retention and bloating
-
Poor mood and mood swing

The good news is, massage, as part of a holistic approach, can help ease these symptoms. A massage can help you relax, reducing anxiety, stress and in turn may aid better sleep. Massage can ease tight and stressed muscles, relieving aching joints and limbs. And the somatic action of massage will help reduce bloating and water retention. And when you take a positive step to improve your health and well being you just feel better.
